Instead of providing the message of regenerating the filter, the engine system fault message comes up. You have to perform the following procedure: drive for 20 minutes with the speed of 60-80 mph, at rpm 2500-4000. It works.

2005 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY 3. I AM ASSUMING THAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT THE REAR HATCH AND NOT THE LOWER TAILGATE. IF THE UPPER HATCH WILL NOT OPEN, THE FIRST STEP IS TO CHECK THE FUSES. IF THE FUSES ARE OK THEN THE PROBLEM IS PROBABLY THE LOCK ACTUATOR. THE ONLY WAY TO ACCESS THE LOCK IS THROUGH THE INTERIOR OF THE TAILGATE.
