Let’s start with the positives. Episodes 1-4 are largely excellent, and the final show is an entertaining feature-length end to the season, perfectly setting the stage for the finale in late 2018.

The visual variability helped make “The Long Night” one of Thrones ’s few front-to-back riveting episodes. Moreover, each scene tended to nicely tie together long-running story elements
There isnt much left to say that hasnt already been mentioned in other reviews here. As much as season 6 and 7 were not the greatest they were still decent and the expected prophecies, the Night King and Aegon Targaryan storyline kept us all on the edge of our seats in anticipation for season 8.
